Councilmember Mark Waronek

Councilmember Waronek has 25+ years of experience in government and community relations, and public affairs. He also previously worked for Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn as her South Bay Senior Deputy.

Councilmember Waronek is heavily involved in a number of local service organizations including the Lomita-Harbor City Kiwanis, El Camino College Foundation and the Salvation Army.

Councilmember Waronek holds a Bachelor of Arts, Communications (with an emphasis in Communications Studies) from Loyola Marymount University and has been a long-time resident of Lomita, with his wife, Kristine, and two adult children, Madeline and Marky. He enjoys spending time with his family and traveling with family and friends. In his spare time he is the public address announcer for football and basketball games at his high school alma mater, Bishop Montgomery High School in Torrance.
